Free. No account. Nothing to buy.
Your county has a free help line for exactly this.
Most families never hear about it. And finding who else still helps, still covers your county, and still has room takes nine calls. We made them first.
Next: a few short questions, about three minutes. No Social Security number, and no email needed to see your results.
We make the calls we can make in advance, and we put the date we last confirmed each one next to it, so you can see what is worth your time and what is worth checking first.
What you get for answering
- A real phone number for your county, today Free, public, and selling nothing. You get yours whatever else we find, even in a county we have barely touched.
- Local organizations that cover where you actually live County lines decide most of this, and the nearest office is often the one that cannot help you. We sort that out before you dial.
- The date we last confirmed each one So a listing nobody has checked since March says so, instead of pretending to be current.
What it costs: nothing, and there is nothing to buy here. We are not a government agency, and no organization pays to appear on this site.
The list was never the hard part
There is no shortage of directories. A directory hands you forty organizations and leaves the phoning to you. The work is finding out which three are running, cover your county, and will pick up, and that work is invisible until you have already spent a week on it.
-
You tell us where, and what kind of help
A ZIP code and a few plain questions. No Social Security number, no Medicare number, no insurance card, no medical history. We do not ask, and there is nowhere in our database to put them.
-
We check who actually covers your county
A service covering the whole of your county from forty miles away will take your call. One eight miles away across a county line will not. County match comes first and distance second, because proximity is not the same as relevance.
-
You get the calls worth making, and what you may be owed
Local organizations, and the government programs your household may have a right to, in one place. Every line carries the date we last confirmed it.
What makes this different
We would rather tell you a listing is stale than pretend it is not.
A long wait is still worth joining
Plenty of good programs have a six month list. We show those, with the wait where we know it, because the list only starts when you join it and hiding it would cost you half a year.
Nobody pays to be on this site
There is no advertising and no sponsored placement. Order is decided by whether a service covers your county, whether it is taking people, how authoritative the source is, and how recently it was confirmed.
An empty answer is about us, not about you
If we have nothing for your county we say we have not researched it yet. We never tell a family there is no help where they live, because that is a claim about their town that we have not earned.
You will always get one real number
Even in a county we have barely touched, your Area Agency on Aging is there, it is free, and it is not selling anything. All 33 of them, covering all 58 counties, checked 28 July 2026.
Start with a ZIP code.
Three minutes, and you will know which calls are worth making before you make any of them.
