What you get for nothing

The full result, always. Every local service we have for your county and every programme your household may be entitled to. It is not shortened, not reordered, and not held back to make anything else look more attractive. There is no paid tier of this site and no upgrade that shows you more organisations.

Three reasons it works that way

1. Charging a family to find out about a free public benefit is a scam pattern. It is one of the things we tell people to watch for. Doing it ourselves, in any softened form, would make this page untrue.
2. The cost of withholding falls on the wrong person. A family that never learns about a programme they were owed loses money and never finds out it happened. That is not recoverable, and no conversion rate justifies it.
3. It converts better anyway. A family that hits a paywall leaves and does not come back. A family that has seen everything, started making calls, and cannot keep track of it is somebody with a real problem we can actually solve.

So how is it paid for

AIONonprofit is built by Digilu, which runs a paid product called Family Observatory for families who need ongoing coordination rather than a list. If the results show a genuine coordination problem, we say so and point at it once. If they do not, we say that instead and ask for nothing.

That is the whole commercial model. There is nothing else on this site to buy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your details to anyone, ever.
• We do not pass your information to the organisations we list.
• We are not paid by any organisation to appear here, and no organisation can pay to rank higher. Ranking is county coverage, then whether it is open, then how authoritative the source is, then how recently it was confirmed.
• We do not sell insurance and we are not a Medicare broker. Nobody here earns a commission on a plan enrolment.
• We do not run advertising against your results.

The honest limitation

Because nobody pays to be listed, we have no financial reason to add any particular organisation, which is good. It also means the research is funded by us, which is why coverage below the county backbone is still thin and why we tell you that plainly on the coverage page rather than hiding it behind a confident looking search box.
